The crash occurred at about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 21 southbound in Mount Laurel Township, New Jersey State Police said.
Based on a preliminary investigation, a Wanc tractor-trailer and a Tremcar tractor-trailer were traveling southbound In the area of milepost 39.1, the Wanc tractor-trailer’s tire had a blowout, State Police said.
As a result of the blowout, the Tremcar tractor-trailer struck the tire, lost directional control, and ran off the roadway into an embankment.
The driver of the Tremcar sustained minor injuries, police said.
The accident remains under investigation and there is no additional information.
